“Yes, I need four 30 by 30 cm, and two 60 by 60 cm plywoods.”

“What do you want to make of them?”

“Um, no, those are for paintings.”

Although he gave me a funny look, I still got my panels.

Painting on the unbendable material is like driving a car with no suspensions. Every stroke gave me a quick and direct feedback. Exploring the feelings make me forget the time, until I saw my reflection on the window. It was night already. I was sitting there, under the lamp, surrounded by the darkness, alone. Sometimes painting is a journey alone. You may go through bumps, or enjoy the view, but it’s all on your own.
